EXPORT SUPPORT
Vehicle Export Questions, Answered Clearly.
Practical guidance for first-time importers, dealers, and fleet buyers—from quotation and inspection to shipping documents and destination responsibilities.
Buying & Quotations
Start with the information we need to confirm the vehicle and prepare a useful written quotation.
Can individuals buy a vehicle from LINC AUTO?+
Yes. Individuals may enquire, subject to the import and registration rules in their destination country. Confirm local eligibility with the relevant authority or a licensed import agent before ordering.
Do you support dealers, fleet buyers, and multi-vehicle orders?+
Yes. Share the models, configurations, quantities, delivery schedule, and destination ports. We will confirm supply and quote the order scope in writing.
What information do you need for an accurate quotation?+
Provide the model or requirements, configuration, quantity, destination port, and preferred FOB or CIF term. Buyer and consignee details can be confirmed before contracting.
Can you source a specific model, trim, colour, or quantity?+
Yes, subject to supplier availability and export eligibility. We confirm the exact specification and quantity before issuing or updating the quotation.
Is there a minimum order quantity?+
Single-vehicle and multi-vehicle enquiries are both welcome. Any model, supplier, or shipping constraint will be stated in the quotation rather than assumed as a universal minimum.
How long is a quotation valid?+
The validity period appears on the written quotation. Vehicle prices, exchange rates, freight, and carrier space can change, so an expired quotation must be reconfirmed.
Vehicles & Inspection
Understand how vehicle identity, configuration, condition, media, and optional inspection are confirmed.
Do you export both new and used vehicles?+
Yes. Availability differs by model and source. New and used vehicles have different condition evidence, preparation needs, and destination requirements, which we confirm for the selected unit.
How is the exact vehicle or configuration confirmed?+
We record the model, trim, key specification, quantity, and available vehicle identifiers in the quotation, contract, or confirmation documents. Review them before payment.
What condition information is available for used vehicles?+
We share the listing details, actual-vehicle media, and available source inspection information for the selected unit. The material available varies by vehicle and is not automatically a warranty or certification.
Can I request current photos, video, or inspection information?+
Yes. Ask for the evidence you need before confirming the order. We will identify what is current, what came from the source, and what additional checks can be arranged.
Can a third-party inspection be arranged?+
It may be possible before shipment, depending on vehicle location, inspector availability, and timing. Scope, fee, report format, and responsibility must be agreed in writing first.
Pricing & Payment
Know what commercial terms mean and what to verify before sending funds.
What is the difference between FOB and CIF?+
FOB generally covers the agreed vehicle and China-side export scope through loading at the named Chinese port. CIF also includes agreed ocean freight and marine insurance to the named destination port; the quotation and contract define the exact scope.
What does the written quotation include?+
It identifies the vehicle, quantity, trade term, named port, included services, price, currency, validity, and commercial conditions. Only items stated as included should be treated as included.
Which charges may remain payable at the destination?+
Import duty, tax, port handling, storage, clearance, inspection, modification, registration, and inland delivery may remain payable locally. Ask a licensed local agent for a destination-specific estimate before ordering.
How are payment instructions confirmed?+
Use only beneficiary details shown on the final LINC AUTO contract and invoice, and verify any requested change through an established official contact. Do not send funds based only on an informal message.
Who pays bank or intermediary transfer fees?+
The contract or invoice states the payment basis. Ask your bank about sender, intermediary, and recipient charges so the full invoiced amount is received when required.
Shipping & Delivery
See how routes, shipping methods, schedules, updates, and insurance are handled.
Which destinations and ports can you ship to?+
Share the destination country and preferred port. We check current carrier service, vehicle acceptance, route availability, and commercial feasibility before confirming the shipment.
How do RoRo and container shipping differ?+
RoRo loads a drivable vehicle directly onto a vessel; container shipping secures one or more vehicles inside a container. Route, vehicle type, cost, schedule, and protection needs determine the suitable option.
How long does shipping take?+
There is no universal duration. Vehicle availability, preparation, export documents, customs, carrier space, sailing schedule, route, transshipment, and destination processing all affect timing.
When is a vessel booking confirmed?+
A booking is confirmed only after the carrier or freight partner accepts it and provides booking details. A requested sailing date is not a confirmed departure.
What shipment updates or tracking information are available?+
We share available booking, loading, departure, and shipping-document updates. Carrier tracking may be available after a bill of lading or container number is issued; it is not guaranteed to be real time.
Is cargo or marine insurance included?+
Only when the quotation or contract explicitly includes it. CIF normally includes agreed marine insurance, but coverage, exclusions, insured value, and claims procedure are governed by the issued policy.
Documents & Customs
Prepare accurate buyer details and understand the division of export and import responsibilities.
What information and documents must the buyer provide?+
Usually we need buyer or company identity details, address, contact information, consignee and notify-party details, destination port, and any known local instructions. Exact requirements depend on the order and destination.
Which export and shipping documents may be supplied?+
Depending on the shipment, documents may include the commercial invoice, packing list where applicable, China-side export or customs documents, and bill of lading. The exact set depends on the vehicle, route, carrier, trade term, and destination.
When must consignee and notify-party details be confirmed?+
Confirm accurate legal names, addresses, phone numbers, tax or registration identifiers where required, and contact details before shipping instructions are submitted. Late amendments can cause fees or delays.
Who handles customs clearance and registration at the destination?+
The buyer or appointed local agent normally handles destination import clearance, taxes, inspections, modifications, registration, and vehicle collection unless the written contract says otherwise.
Can LINC AUTO confirm whether a vehicle is legal to import and register locally?+
We can share available vehicle and export information, but destination eligibility is decided by local law and authorities. Obtain written confirmation from a licensed local specialist before purchase.
After Shipment & Exceptions
Know what evidence to keep and whom to contact when plans change or an issue is found.
What happens if the vessel schedule changes?+
Carrier schedules can change because of port congestion, weather, route adjustments, or operational decisions. We pass on confirmed updates and coordinate the next available step without guaranteeing the carrier's timetable.
What should I do if damage is found after arrival?+
Photograph the vehicle, packaging, seals, and surrounding condition before removal where possible. Record the exception with the carrier or port promptly and contact us with the shipment reference and evidence; claims follow the transport and insurance documents.
What happens if the vehicle or documents differ from the confirmed order?+
Stop processing where practical, preserve photos and documents, and contact us immediately with the order reference and precise discrepancy. Resolution depends on the confirmed contract, evidence, and responsible party.
Who collects the vehicle from the destination port?+
The buyer or appointed clearing or delivery agent normally arranges clearance, port release, storage payment, and collection unless destination handling is explicitly included in the written contract.
How can a dealer place a repeat or larger order?+
Send the previous order reference plus the new models, quantities, destination, and target schedule. We will reconfirm supply, pricing, shipping capacity, and any revised commercial terms.
